Employee salary information (earning over £100k per annum)

Maintained schools are now required to publish salary information on any employee earning over £100,000 per annum.

All staff employed directly by the school are paid in accordance with the School Teachers Pay & Conditions Document (STPD) or National Joint Council (NJC) Terms & Conditions (support staff).  All salary levels are determined and reviewed annually by the Pay Committee of the Board of Governors in the autumn term.

Trade union duties and activities

Trade union duties are when an employee has paid time off during working hours to carry out recognised trade union duties.

Working hours refers to any time when an employee has to be at work according to their employment contract.

Trade union duties are paid. Trade union activities can be paid or unpaid. Trade union representatives are entitled to reasonable paid time off to carry out trade union duties. They are not entitled to paid time off for trade union activities but an employer can choose to pay for this time.

 

At Halebank C E Primary School there are currently no union representatives recieving any paid time off for trade union duties or activities.
