School Meals
School meals offer a selection of freshly cooked main meals and desserts every day, often including pasta, salad, fresh fruit and yoghurt, for only £2.90 per day.
Each school offers a cafeteria type service where you can choose from a wide range of individually priced foods each day.
Our menus includes all the children's favourites and is fully compliant with Government standards which state that we must include one portion of fruit and veg/salad per child. .
We work closely with all our schools and we listen to all their suggestions.

From September 2024 school meals at Halebank C E Primary will no longer be provided by Halton Borough Council. An alternative provider will be sourced via rigorous research and analysis of those companies who offer the service and are cuerrently working within Halton. This process will involve our pupils as we value their opinions and believe that they will give us the best feedback on current and future school meals. An announcement about the new school meals offer for September will be available on the website as soon as a decision has been made.
