Willow Class - Mrs Draper (Y1/2)

Welcome to Willow Class!

My name is Mrs Draper and I am the class teacher and SENDCO. I have worked here at Halebank C of E Primary School for over 15 years and during my time, I have taught a number of year groups. I enjoy working with children and inspiring them to learn, sing and perform. I always look forward to our school nativity performance! I have been the school SENDCo for over 6 years and completed my NASENCO qualification. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with my husband and daughter Isobel. 

I work alongside Mrs Gibson, who is the teaching assistant in Willow Class. 

PE

Our Class PE is on a Tuesday and Friday. Please bring your PE kits to school on a Monday, we will send them home every Friday to be washed. Remember outdoor PE kits can be worn as the weather becomes colder. 

Reading

Children will bring home their reading book daily. Please try to read each night, remember to write a comment and sign the reading record book. Children can access phonic games via Bug Club (www.activelearnprimary.co.uk) and Y2 children can access spelling games via Edshed (https://www.edshed.com/en-gb/). Children will need to login to access these games. 

Maths

Children can access Numbots at home to practise their Maths fluency skills (https://play.numbots.com/#/intro). They will also need to login to play.
