Dogs Trust

We were lucky to welcome the Dog's Trust into school to help educate us about being safe around animals especially dogs. We learnt lots about how dogs use their senses, what to do if we are around strange dogs and how to keep ourselves and our pets safe. These are the 5 happy dog rules:-

• If a dog is resting, we should leave it alone.

• If a dog is eating, we should leave it alone.

• We should always stay quiet around dogs.

• Dogs don't like to be hugged. Instead give them gentle strokes.

• If a dog takes your toy, tell a grown up.
