Extra-Curricular Activities

Extra-curricular activities boost young people's confidence to interact socialy with others; extend their social networks; and provide

them with new skills and abilities. Above all, they offer an important space to have fun and relax away from the pressures of school work.

At Halebank C E Primary School we aim to provide after school clubs throughout the year which are all free of charge and are open to ALL

pupils in our school. This year our clubs have included KS2 Sports, KS1 Sports, KS2 Chess, KS1&2 Drama and Performing Arts, Cricket,

SATs Revision and KS1 Fun Phonics. Our clubs will vary from year to year and are lead by outside providers or teachers. We aim to respond

to pupil interests whilst also attempting to introduce our young people to new opportunities.

We have purchased new resources to be used at playtimes this year and our MDAs are always looking for new ideas to engage the children at lunchtimes.
